Matt Faircloth

Matt, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Engineering. Matt has completed over $30 million in real estate transactions involving private capital including fix and flips, single family home rentals, mixed-use buildings, apartment buildings, office buildings, and tax lien investments.  Matt has extensive expertise in connecting passive investors to lucrative investment opportunities through syndications, private loans and joint ventures.

Matt Faircloth is an active contributor to BiggerPockets.com through Facebook Live, teaching webinars, and blogging. He leads the Mentorship Mondays series on DeRosa’s YouTube channel where he answers weekly real estate investing questions!

Liz Faircloth

Liz grew up in a small town right outside of Flemington, New Jersey. She graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Psychology and went on to get her Masters’ Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Liz is the proud founder of the DeRosa Gives initiative.

Liz is also the host of “The Real Estate InvestHER Show,” a podcast providing straight talk along with inspiration for existing and aspiring women investors to live both balanced and financially free lives.

Michael Goldstein

Michael moved to Trenton in 2003 and began developing real estate in 2004. He is an experienced hi-tech CEO/entrepreneur. As a partner at HHG, Michael is principally responsible for financing, financial planning, investor relations, marketing, and sales.

HHG is the exclusive developer of the Roebling Center. The Roebling Center is a 6.8 acre, mixed- use development located in Trenton, NJ. Phase One of this project includes the Roebling Lofts. The Lofts are certified LEED Gold. They include amenities such as electric car charging, hi-performance windows and shades, advanced heating and air-conditioning, comprehensive sound insulation, and more.

Over time, the Roebling Center is restoring structures originally built by John A. Roebling Sons Company. This company is best known for the Brooklyn Bridge. The center will features such as natural light skylights, connections to major highways and public transportation, office spaces, restaurant spaces, and is located in not only the NJ Garden State Growth Zone, but also a federal opportunity zone.

Shomail Malik

Shomail is Co-founder and Managing Partner of APEX Capital Group, New Jersey’s Number 1 provider of turn-key cashflow properties. He has completed more than 400 real estate transactions and manages $30 million in capital from individuals and institutional investors. He has taught hundreds of students across the U.S. how to wholesale and rehab properties, raise private capital and build a portfolio of rental properties. He is a sought-after speaker at real estate investor association meetings and national real estate conferences. He has co-authored three best-selling books that have made it to the Amazon best-sellers list and has appeared in USA Today, Yahoo Finance, Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal. He handles business development and market expansion at APEX Capital Group. He completed his undergraduate education in economics and cell biology and neuroscience at Rutgers College and his Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School. Shomail lives with his wife and 3 amazing kids near Princeton, NJ.

Josh McCallen

Josh McCallen is a nationally recognized hospitality executive, conference speaker, innovator, builder & investor with a track record for the development of exceptional resort properties and growing world-class operational teams.

In the past 20+ years, Mr. McCallen has led over $100,000,000 in luxury residential and hospitality construction served as president of a 400+ person hotel development and management company and built numerous businesses & brands including a ranking of #7 on TripAdvisor top hotels.  Josh is currently the CEO of Renault Winery a resort featuring a golf club, winery, wedding venue, and hotel.

Beka Shea

Beka is CEO and Founder of Beka’s Deals.  She oversees the operations of flipping and wholesaling over 50 properties a year.  Beka is extremely gifted on the marketing front optimizing across 15 different marketing channels to drive ideal conversion funnel growth.  Beka is also the co-founder of the Pottstown Real Estate Hackers meetup and is heavily involved in the local investing community.

Chad Gallagher

Chad Gallagher is the co-founder and co-owner of SlateHouse Group.  SlateHouse, founded in 2014, manages over 3,800 units across PA, NJ, and MD for investment owners, with over 100 employees.  SlateHouse also has a brokerage division in both NJ and PA with 20 real estate agents that focus on working with investors to buy and sell real estate.

SlateHouse also owns 200 units --- a mix of single-family homes, office buildings, and multi-unit buildings.  Chad raised $2M as part of the SlateHouse syndication -- used to acquire $8M in real estate.

Chad contributes to the investor community as a writer for BiggerPockets.com, the leading real estate investor website.  Previous to real estate, Chad led the Advertising.com mobile network which had $100M in revenue and was acquired by Verizon as part of a larger acquisition.  Chad graduated in 2006 from the University of Virginia with a degree in Systems Engineering and a minor in Business.

Justin Fraser

Justin Fraser is owner of 88 Real Estate Capital, including 43 apartment units. Justin was able to leave his full time job under the age of 30 to pursue a full time career in real estate investing. Justin invests in New Jersey and Virginia — including a syndication across multiple investors. Justin is also the co-founder of On Air Brands, a podcast marketing agency based in New Jersey.

Ryan Daubert

Mr. Daubert graduated Cum Laude from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing. He possesses extensive experience and expertise in insurance sales and management -- overseeing over 1,000 investing clients insurance policies.

Prior to founding Red Rabbit Insurance, Mr. Daubert served as a top producing commercial agent with a large, well-recognized insurance agency in the Roseland, NJ area. During his time with this firm, he was recognized for his outstanding leadership abilities, and his genuine desire to help his clients. Mr. Daubert uses his knowledge of the industry to find his clients insurance solutions that precisely match their risk management needs. In addition to his dedication to the success of Daubert Shannon & Associates, Mr. Daubert also generously volunteers his time in the community. He has served on the board of directors for The Illick’s Mill Partnership, Kids Peace, and in leadership roles at his church.

Eric Brewer

Eric Brewer is the owner and CEO of CR Property Group. Since beginning in 2006, the company has bought, renovated, and sold over 1,000 homes in York. He has an extensive background and experience in the acquisition, rehabilitation and sale of real estate. 

Eric served in the United States Army in the Avionics Division. Prior to transitioning to real estate, Eric spent 8 years in the car business. He is driven by helping others and sponsors several local community and youth programs, including York Suburban Basketball, Boys Club of York City Raiders, and YorkTowne Patriots Football Club.

M.C. Laubscher AKA The Cash Flow Ninja

M.C. Laubscher is a wealth strategist, educator, and financial freedom fighter.  He is the President and CEO of Producers Wealth and creator and the host of the popular and top-rated business and investing podcast, Cashflow Ninja.

Erik Cabral

Erik Cabral is the founder of the Mindado Investment Group, the creative agency On Air Brands, a partner in First Deal Coaches, and plays host, co-host, and producer on several shows: Entrepreneurs Circle, LIVE at the Hive, and Capital Hacking. With multiple businesses and partnerships, Erik is the quintessential “serial entrepreneur” who spends much of his time helping others grow their own businesses and brands.
